Right to Information: You are entitled at any time to request confirmation from us under Art. 15 GDPR regarding whether we process personal data concerning you; if this is the case, you are also entitled to information about this personal data as well as certain other information (including processing purposes, categories of personal data, categories of recipients, planned storage duration, the source of the data, the use of automated decision-making, and suitable guarantees in case of transfer to third countries) and a copy of your data.

Right to Rectification: You have the right to request us under Art. 16 GDPR to correct any personal data concerning you that we hold if it is inaccurate or incorrect.

Right to Erasure: You have the right to request us under the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR to delete personal data concerning you immediately. The right to erasure does not exist, among other reasons, if the processing of the personal data is necessary for (i) exercising the right to freedom of expression and information, (ii) fulfilling a legal obligation to which we are subject (e.g., statutory retention obligations), or (iii) asserting, exercising, or defending legal claims.

Right to Restriction of Processing: You have the right to request us under the conditions of Art. 18 GDPR to restrict the processing of your personal data.

Right to Data Portability: You have the right to request us under the conditions of Art. 20 GDPR to provide you with the personal data concerning you that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

Right to Withdraw Consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time, effective for the future.

Right to Object: You have the right to object under the conditions of Art. 21 GDPR to the processing of your personal data, so that we must cease processing your personal data. The right to object exists only within the limits specified in Art. 21 GDPR. Furthermore, our interests in continuing the processing may counter the cessation of processing, so that we are entitled to continue processing your personal data despite your objection.

Right to Complain to a Supervisory Authority: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority under the conditions of Art. 77 GDPR, particularly in the member state of your residence, your workplace, or the place of the suspected violation, if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you violates the GDPR. The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.

Information about Your Right to Object under Art. 21 GDPR

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your data that is carried out based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (data processing based on a balancing of interests) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e GDPR (data processing in the public interest), if there are reasons arising from your particular situation. This also applies to profiling based on this provision as defined in Art. 4 No. 4 GDPR. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. We also process your personal data in individual cases for direct marketing purposes. If you do not wish to receive advertising, you have the right to object at any time; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is related to such direct marketing. We will take this objection into account for the future. We will no longer process your data for direct marketing purposes if you object to the processing for these purposes.  The objection can be made informally and should preferably be directed to the contact details provided above.

VIII. Automated Decision-Making / Profiling

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling (an automated analysis of your personal circumstances).

IX. Independent Analytics

Our website uses Independent Analytics, an open-source software, to analyze how visitors use our website. According to the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we store all data collected by Independent Analytics exclusively on our own servers, and there is no transfer to other servers.
